SUMMARY: This role offers a unique opportunity for candidates with a .NET developer background to work directly with NWPX/Northwest Pipe’s business units and stakeholders. Through development support of NWPX’s proprietary, in-house developed application suite the ideal candidate will be technically proficient in visual basic, C#, JavaScript and Microsoft’s technology stack. Professional Engineer

SUMMARY: Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is a Professional Engineer for the Dam Safety section of the Nevada Division of Water Resources. The position will be located in Carson City. The incumbent performs inspections of existing dams across Nevada and assisting in plan review and permitting process for new dams, alterations to existing dams, and decommissioning of dams. The inspection of dams requires up to up to 10 to 12 weeks per year of fieldwork, as well as large amounts of data management. Other duties include the operation and maintenance of South Fork Dam, project management including project management, breach inundation mapping, hydraulics and hydrology analysis, geotechnical analysis, and grant management. This position is also responsible for managing and reviewing the work of staff members assisting in the duties described above.
