SUMMARY: The Board of Directors of the Colorado River Energy Distributors Association (CREDA) seeks a visionary leader with a demonstrated commitment to protecting the federal hydropower system, and who possesses strong interpersonal skills to become the next Executive Director. The CREDA Board has retained NRECA Executive Search to facilitate the search process. The Executive Director of CREDA provides leadership, advice, and assistance to the Board of Directors, the Executive Committee, and various working committees concerning legislative developments, industry changes, strategic planning, business objectives, and policy needs that support CREDA’s mission now and in the future. The Executive Director is CREDA’s primary spokesperson and represents CREDA in meetings and events with WAPA and the USBR, and with federal legislators.
Engineering Project Manager
SALARY: $106,000–$129,000 annually

SUMMARY: The individual works within established guidelines with some decision-making authority including: responsible to design, manufacture and deliver projects in within established budgets; provides design solutions related to customer needs per industry standards such as UPC, IPC, IAPMO, and SME; and provides in plant design solutions to meet industry standards such as OHSA and NEC.
Professional Engineer
SALARY: Up to $80,053–$120,122 annually

SUMMARY: Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is a Professional Engineer for the Dam Safety section of the Nevada Division of Water Resources. The position will be located in Carson City. The incumbent performs inspections of existing dams across Nevada and assisting in plan review and permitting process for new dams, alterations to existing dams, and decommissioning of dams. The inspection of dams requires up to up to 10 to 12 weeks per year of fieldwork, as well as large amounts of data management. Other duties include the operation and maintenance of South Fork Dam, project management including project management, breach inundation mapping, hydraulics and hydrology analysis, geotechnical analysis, and grant management. This position is also responsible for managing and reviewing the work of staff members assisting in the duties described above.
